Thank you to everyone who helped make Field Day a great success! It is always a fun time playing games outside with the kids. We couldn't do this day without you!
Students were able to listen to retired teachers read a story last week and then pick a book to take home for the summer. More books will be available this week for students to pick up at recess and read over the summer. Thank you for all of the donations!

Moving Up Walk - Celebrating Our 5th Graders
On the last day of school, June 7th at 1:20, we will be celebrating our 5th graders who will be moving on to middle school in our second annual Moving Up Walk. This is a brief ceremony where all of our students will gather by grade level in a rectangle out on the primary playground. The 5th graders will walk out to music and walk around the other students as we cheer them on and celebrate them as they say good bye to elementary school. They will end in the center of all the students and then each grade level will "move up" in line to their next grade level. 5th grade parents are welcome to attend to cheer for your child.

Summer Information
If you have any new neighbors move in over the summer, please direct them to rcsdk8.org to register as a new student. If they have any questions while our office is closed, they can contact the district office.
Class Lists
Per new district policy, class lists will not be posted for the upcoming school year on the front office doors. We will be contacting everyone via e-mail on August 7th.

Moving Up Walk - Celebrando Nuestros 5º Grado
El último día de clases, el 7 de junio a la 1:20, estaremos celebrando a nuestros estudiantes de 5to grado que se mudarán a la escuela intermedia en nuestra segunda Caminata anual Moving Up Walk. Esta es una breve ceremonia en la que todos nuestros alumnos se reunirán por nivel de grado en un rectángulo en el patio de recreo primario. Los estudiantes de 5to grado se irán a la música y caminarán alrededor de los otros estudiantes mientras los alentamos y los celebramos mientras se despiden de la escuela primaria. Terminarán en el centro de todos los estudiantes y luego cada nivel de grado se "moverá hacia arriba" en línea a su próximo nivel de grado. Los padres de 5to grado son bienvenidos a asistir para animar a su hijo.
