Sargeant Families Blog - December 16th - 20th

Cookie Dough Orders
Cookie dough orders will be delivered this Wednesday, December 18th. Families can pick up their orders in the activity room (the room on the blacktop) from 3:15-6pm. Orders come frozen, but they will not be stored if they aren’t picked up in time.

Girls on the Run

Girls on the run is coming in 2020!

It is a running club open to any 3-5th grade girl. Mrs. Gibson and Ms. Kurpershoek will be holding practices twice per week on Tuesdays/Thursdays from 3:30-5:00pm on campus. The girls will practice running techniques, learn teamwork/leadership skills, and will complete a community outreach project together. In May, they get to run in a 5k with other girls who are participating in Girls on the Run at other local schools! 

Registration begins on January 20th, and ends on Friday, February 14th. Practices begin on February10th. There is a fee that parents will be asked to pay online when registering their student.

There will be a student informational meeting for any girls who are interested in Room 22 Wednesday, December 18th.

New Volunteer/Guest Check In - Coming in the New Year (2020)
Our district is moving to a new volunteer check in system coming in January 2020.  When you come onto campus and check in, you will need your ID.  A new program called Raptor will be used where Driver's Licenses will be scanned and a badge with your picture will be printed out.  

Lost and Found
Our lost and found is overflowing. Please stop by to check to see if you can find your child's missing items. All items left at winter break will be donated.

Pedidos de masa de galletas
Los pedidos de masa para galletas se entregarán este miércoles 18 de diciembre. Las familias pueden recoger sus pedidos en la sala de actividades (la sala en el asfalto) de 3: 15-6pm. Los pedidos se congelan, pero no se almacenarán si no se recogen a tiempo.



Girls on the Run

¡Girls on the run llegará en 2020!



Es un club de atletismo abierto a cualquier niña de 3 ° a 5 ° grado. La Sra. Gibson y la Sra. Kurpershoek realizarán prácticas dos veces por semana los martes / jueves de 3: 30-5: 00pm en el campus. Nuevo voluntario / Guest Check In - Próximamente en el Año Nuevo (2020)

Nuestro distrito se está mudando a un nuevo sistema de registro voluntario en enero de 2020. Cuando ingrese al campus y se registre, necesitará su identificación. Se utilizará un nuevo programa llamado Raptor donde se escanearán las licencias de conducir y se imprimirá una placa con su imagen.

Students who are BALANCED are healthy and are aware that eating properly and exercising is important in their lives.  They understand that is important to have a balance between the physical and mental aspects of their bodies.  

How can families help at home?
Role model this attribute by:

Girls on the Run
