Sargeant Families Blog - September 16th-20th


This week was the first principal read aloud. All students heard the book What Does it Mean to Be Kind? The book shared specific things people could do to be kind to others. Talk to your child this weekend about the book as well as ways they can be kind at home and school.

Spanish Information
During the month of September, your children will be working on the following in Spanish:


TK- Greetings, introducing names (continue), setting expectations, numbers (1-5) and games related to action verbs 
Kinder- Introducing names (continue), setting expectations (continue), pirates, colors, numbers (1-10) and
Verbs: soy, es, hay
1st - Days of the week, the months, numbers (1-20), the family members (mother, father, son, daughter, baby, dog, cat), big and small.
Verbs: hay, tiene, es
2nd - 5th - Days of the week, the weather, months of the year, numbers, prepositions Verbs: hay, esta, es/soy


Don't Forget...
Every Monday is a Minimum Day for PLCs (Professional Learning Community)
(All kinders are 8:50-1:50 and 1st-5th is 8:50-2:00)
