Students who are BALANCED are healthy and are aware that eating properly and exercising is important in their lives.  They understand that is important to have a balance between the physical and mental aspects of their bodies.  

How can families help at home?
Role model this attribute by:
-Playing outside-Going to the park 
-Making  dinner together 
-Reading a book 
-Playing  a board game 
-Going on a walk 
-Doing chores as a family

Girls on the Run

Girls on the run is coming in 2020!

It is a running club open to any 3-5th grade girl. Mrs. Gibson and Ms. Kurpershoek will be holding practices twice per week on Tuesdays/Thursdays from 3:30-5:00pm on campus. The girls will practice running techniques, learn teamwork/leadership skills, and will complete a community outreach project together. In May, they get to run in a 5k with other girls who are participating in Girls on the Run at other local schools! 

Registration begins on January 20th, and ends on Friday, February 14th. Practices begin on February10th. There is a fee that parents will be asked to pay online when registering their student.

There will be a student informational meeting for any girls who are interested in Room 22 Wednesday, December 18th.

Los estudiantes que están EQUILIBRADOS están saludables y son conscientes de que comer bien y hacer ejercicio es importante en sus vidas. Entienden que es importante tener un equilibrio entre los aspectos físicos y mentales de sus cuerpos.

Girls on the Run

¡Girls on the run llegará en 2020!

Es un club de atletismo abierto a cualquier niña de 3 ° a 5 ° grado. La Sra. Gibson y la Sra. Kurpershoek realizarán prácticas dos veces por semana los martes / jueves de 3: 30-5: 00pm en el campus.
