Sargeant Families Blog - November 9th

Thank you for taking time out of your schedule to attend parent teacher conferences this week. It's a great time to talk to teachers, ask questions and continue to build connections with school. I encourage you to continue the communication with your child's teacher throughout the school year. A strong home-school partnership helps children flourish.

November: Courageous

Students who are COURAGEOUS try to solve problems in a lot of ways.  
They are brave when they defend their beliefs to others.

How can families help at home?
-If your child is feeling uneasy about trying something, encourage them to
attempt it and then reflect on whether they liked the activity and how it felt to try
something new.
-Encourage your child to try something new: food, sport, book, or activity.

March 20th and 21st - Starstruck Night (1/2 the school on one night, 1/2 on the other)

April 15-22 - No School (Spring Break and Teacher Professional Development)

May 22nd - Fun Run (volunteers will be needed for this event)

May 24th - Field Day (volunteers needed for this event)

May 30th - Last Day of School
