Thank you to everyone who supported the Pantastic musical by helping out and attending. The kids did an amazing job on the stage and behind the scenes in order to make it a huge success. Our student directors were Leah, Matthew and Isabella from Eich. This was their 8th Grade IB Community Service Project. A big thank you to our teacher directors who have supported them along the way: Mrs. Danielson, Mrs. Gibson and Mrs. Phillipson.
Online Registration for Next School Year
Online registration is now open. Although it seems like quite a while before next school year, we are already planning. We are looking at enrollment numbers for hiring in our school and throughout the district. It is very important that you register your child who is returning to the school district as soon as possible.

Just like last year, your registration is not complete until it is submitted. You will receive an e-mail confirmation that it went through. Please call the office if you have any questions.
Academic Talent Search
The information sheet is linked above and sign up forms are in the office about the Academic Talent Search through Sac State.
The ATS Test Sign-Up form needs to be turned into the school office by February 15, 2019.
The test dates and locations are as follows:
February 25, 2019 3:00 p.m. at Cooley Middle School
March 4, 2019 3:00 pm at Eich Middle School
We currently have about 10 kids in the after school club by Destiny Community Center on Tuesdays until 4:30. The club is free and includes Crazy 8s math (making math fun), character and team building. If you would like to sign your child up, please e-mail Mrs. Peck for an application at rpeck@rcsdk8.org or stop by the office.

Registro en línea para el próximo año escolar
La inscripción en línea ya está abierta. Aunque parece que es bastante tiempo antes del próximo año escolar, ya estamos planeando. Estamos viendo los números de inscripción para la contratación en nuestra escuela y en todo el distrito. Es muy importante que registre a su hijo que regresa al distrito escolar lo antes posible.

Registro RCSD

25 de febrero de 2019 a 3:00 p.m. en Cooley Middle School
4 de marzo de 2019 a las 3:00 pm en Eich Middle School
Club de destino después de la escuela los martes para alumnos de 3º a 5º grado
