Safety Reminders
- Please slow down around the school during drop off and pick up.
- If you are parking out on the street and walking your child to the front, please cross in front of the drop off/pick up loop so we can make sure you get safely across and people see you. When people cross in between cars this is a safety concern and slows down us getting cars into the loop.
CASSPP Testing for 3rd-5th Graders
The state testing, also known as CAASPP will be taking place this spring. Check out this website for more information: CAASPP Testing Information for Parents.
Testing will be after spring break during April and May for Language Arts and Math. As we get closer to those dates, your child's teacher will communicate the exact dates to you. The 5th graders also take a science test.
ELPAC Testing
The English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) will take place of our English learners in April. Testing will be completed during the school day.
The assessment measures the student's English language in reading, writing, speaking and listening.
Yearbook

Symptoms and COVID Precautions Reminder
Please report the following scenarios on the RCSD Student Online Absence Reporting Form, keep your child home, and await a call from the RCSD COVID-19 Tracing Team.
The COVID tracing team will let you know the timeline for return and next steps. All information needs to be communicated to them. The school site does not determine the return date.

Picture Day this Week!
We will be taking pictures of students in person for the yearbook. The pictures are not professional, they will just be taken with a cell phone in order to get all the kids in the yearbook. The picture days are as follows:

Champions Information Only
Breakfast/Lunch Pick up Monday-Friday from 11:30-1:00 by the gate near the multi.

CAASPP Testing for 3rd-5th - You will need a district Chromebook for testing. Ann Wilmoth will be calling families this week who do not have one checked out in order to get one checked out for testing.
Next Materials Pick Up - March 11th - check with your teacher if you will have items. They will be on a table in front of the school from 2:00-4:00.
