Open House: Thank you for attending Open House last week.  Thank you to the PTC and volunteers for hosting the gathering of families for food and fun before they went into classrooms to see teachers.  The classrooms looked amazing and our students were proud to show you their work and participate in activities with you at school.  It was a great night!

Book Corner
Hello from The Book Corner.  This week Mrs O'Connors and Mrs. Vandivier are celebrating all things fairy tale!  Our school library has a great collection.  We also have a wonderful collection of twisted, or fractured, fairy tales.

Twisted, or fractured, fairy tales are super fun books usually told from a different point of view.  For example, in The True Story of the Three Little Pigs, the story is told from the Wolf's perspective.  And author Josh Funk has an "It's Not" series where the narrator interacts with the main characters who mix the stories up!

If your child loves fairy tales, encourage them to give these a try.  And they would be fun to read together!
