Book Corner
The Book Corner is back and we have some great shares this week, especially as sports are kicking into high gear! Many of our students are looking for sports related themes and we have some great choices in the library!
The first choice is an author pick...Mike Lupica! He writes fictional stories about different sports. His books are all about teamwork and the love of sport! His books have both male and female leads!
The next pick is the Who is..., What is...series. These are nonfiction books that tell all about the life of your favorite player (like Who is Michael Jordan?) or about how something came to be (like What is the Super Bowl?). This series isn't just about sports though - it also talks about many interests that kids have (like Who is Walt Disney? or What is the Amazon Rain Forest?)
Wishing you a wonderful weekend and happy reading!
