Sargeant Families Blog - Winter Break and Week of January 4th

Thank you to all the families who donated a toy to the CHiP's Toy Drive.  We know that this year in particular has been tough for families and we appreciate your generosity.

As you enjoy the holiday break, please make sure to continue to take safety precautions as we want to make sure everyone returns on January 5th healthy and ready to be back at school.

We can't wait to see you in the new year!

Over the past couple weeks Mrs. Peck has been visiting classrooms in person and online to read the book Be You by Peter Reynolds.  It's has a great message for people of all ages and ties in some of out IB attributes.  Check out the video below with your kids and ask them of the can share with you the different parts of the books that connect with the attributes.  (Hint: The top ones are Caring, Thinker, Inquirer and Courageous).

Holiday Craft Night Photos
Some of our students shared some photos of their completed holiday tree craft, so Ms. Rio and Ms. Hagar wanted to show you their trees too! The wellness team would like to thank all of the families who joined our Family Holiday Craft Event via zoom last night. It was so amazing to see all of the smiling faces and families working together.  Have a happy break! ((:

School Over Break
If you live close to the school, please keep an eye on our campus when you drive by.  Over breaks, the campus can be a place where people like to hang out and some times damage occurs at school.  We would love to prevent this from happening.  If you see anyone on campus that is not supposed to be, for example skateboarding or hanging out on the roof, please call the non-emergency number for the Roseville PD.  Thanks!

We are out on winter break for the next two weeks.  Staff has professional development on Monday, January 4th.  School resumes on Tuesday, January 5th.

Sami's Circuit:   -  Check this out!  This calendar has links to all the weekly episodes.

Classes Resume on Tuesday, January 5th.
